We all know that being fit involves eating healthy and exercising, but to be truly– or completely- fit in mind and body also involves a variety of lifestyle factors such as maintaining the right mental attitude, getting enough sleep and how you spend your time outside of the gym.


To help you be more “holistically fit”, I’ve come up with a collection of 50 easy but effective little things you can add to your healthy lifestyle so you can not only be more fit but more all-around fabulous too!


1. Move every day
2. Eat more vegetables
3. Laugh often
4. Keep a gratitude journal
5. Eliminate soda
6. Get fresh air
7. Smile more
8. Do yoga
9. Sleep when your body wants it
10. Walk during the day as much as possible
11. Drink Yerbe Mate Tea
12. Schedule time to relax each week
13. Play with your pet
14. Eat organic
15. Eliminate clutter
16. Spend time with happy people
17. Try something new…and give yourself permission to learn
18. Strengthen your abs and core
19. Get regular massages
20. Wear only cloths that make you feel good
21. Avoid sugar and high fructose corn syrup (read labels!)
22. Stand up straight
23. Never talk badly about yourself
24. Invest in good shoes/sneakers
25. Get regular sunlight on your skin
