Amy Morin is a licensed clinical social worker, college psychology instructor and psychotherapist. She’s also the Editor-in-Chief of Verywell Mind and the host of The Verywell Mind Podcast.
In 2013, her article, “13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do,” became a viral sensation when it was read by over 50 million people. Her Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling book, also titled “13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do,” is being translated into more than 40 languages.
Her second book, 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don’t Do, is filled with more than 100 mental strength exercises for parents and children.
Her third book, 13 Things Mentally Strong Women Don’t Do, focuses on the bad habits women can give up to build their mental muscles.
Her fourth book, 13 Things Strong Kids Do, went on sale in April of 2021.
