Anti-Aging Starts with Your Mindset!

I get asked all the time about how I have so much energy and look years younger than my age. Well, here’s a very important tip for you to keep in mind about staying youthful both inside and out:

Just because something is “typical” doesn’t mean it’s NORMAL!

Now don’t get me wrong, having a chronically stressful lifestyle that is void of fun, exercise and healthy food is definitely part of the equation that will pre-maturely age you- so is using skin care and beauty products that are not natural or full of dangerous chemicals; but we must remember that it’s also vitally important that we examine our beliefs and expectations because they are very powerful and are in fact self-fulfilling prophecies!

In other words, the way you think about aging and what you expect to happen is a big piece of the puzzle of what you will ultimately experience. Keep in mind that just because you see and hear people around you getting grumpier, fatter, slower, more achy and developing diseases and ailments as they get older, doesn’t mean this is the “normal”, inevitable human condition of aging and that it will most certainly happen to you! In fact, much of what we confuse for the normal course of the aging process really just comes down to improper lifestyle habits and violation of many of the Laws of Nature.

I decided years ago that “I am getting BETTER as I get older”… MORE fit, WISER, KINDER, MORE fun, MORE generous, etc…

You see,  I except these things in my life…but it all had to start with my being aware of what I thought and of what I accepted as “truth” and then lining it up with what I ultimately wanted for my life.

So my question for YOU is:

What are YOUR beliefs?

Start being aware of the things you tell yourself and accept as “normal” or inevitable in your life and if it’s something you don’t want, educate yourself on how to get what you do want and find others who’ve done so also!
