We are thinking emotional beings. Did you know that it’s estimated that the human brain processes between 12,000-50,000 thoughts per day? Yes, it’s quite a lot! The mind is always buzzing about something. And unfortunately, most of our thoughts are repetitive, dwelling in the past, fearful of the future or simply utter nonsense! Can you relate?
Most of the repetitive thoughts are almost on autopilot. This means that they are programmed into the subconscious mind so it’s hard to control them, change them, or simply make them go away. But don’t lose hope! We can regain our power through self-awareness!
How?
Separate thoughts from yourself: Realize that you are not your thoughts! They can come and go and you are going to remain the same unless you believe them.
Pay more attention and filter incoming thoughts: Listen to your thoughts and decide if you want to keep having them or not. This can be a huge improvement from the automatically programmed response.
Take control: Change your thinking pattern and focus and what you WANT!
- If money and success are important to you, those things will be the focus of your thoughts.
- If your family is your focus, your thoughts will prioritize your loved ones. ❤️
- If you desperately want a relationship, finding a partner will always be on your mind.
- If you desire to make a positive change in the world, your thoughts will home in on how you can do that.
Ask yourself: WHAT DO YOU WANT? – and be your own agent of change!
