Fruit and Belly Fat!

Hi Amy, I had a small question, please do answer when you find time. I keep eating lots of fruits such as  apple, grapes, strawberries…. I wanted to know how much fruits we should eat per day?

I take less food and try to eat fruits more. Plz let me know, to reduce belly fat what I must eat… I do 60 mins cardio every day but I don’t have flat tummy:(  plz do help me.

Hello Smitha,

I am so glad you asked this question, because if fat loss, and bellyfat loss in particular, are your goals, you MUST control/reduce the amount of fruit you eat!!!

Although fruit is “natural” and contains vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber, it is also high in fructose which is a simple sugar, and therefore can reek havoc in people’s weight loss efforts.

Dr. Joseph Mercola, a leading natural health expert recommends no more than 20 grams of fructose/day…which would be like ONE apple or a 1/2 cup of berries, 1/4 a banana, etc.
