You’ve seen it before, or maybe it’s happened to you:
You and your husband (or boyfriend), decide it’s time to get in shape and lose some weight. So you both join a gym, start exercising and make a point to eat more veggies, cut out the pizza, cookies and junk and try to replace soda and energy drinks with more water.
All’s good for a while but then after a few weeks, he’s down 8 pounds and you’re either down only 1 pound or stayed the SAME!

I feel there’s a crisis in our culture of women running around living their lives trying to be fit, healthy and happy by being like “mini-men”!
I’m here to tell you that women are NOT mini-men- and we shouldn’t workout or eat like them if we want to be balanced, beautiful and happy.
Women have a completely different, and delicate physiology then men, with complex hormonal cycles and biochemical rhythms that affect both our physical functioning and our moods, energy levels and needs!
I’ve learned it’s important as a human being, (who just happens to be a woman!) that we must acknowledge and honor the natural rhythms and cycles of our bodies, and that yes, in fact, biologically we are different from men!
Please know that you are different and that’s why what he does doesn’t work for you!
Once you understand this and then learn about how to eat, exercise and live in ways that are in harmony with your natural self and your unique (feminine) needs, you will not only be more fit 👙 but a heck of a lot more calm, peaceful, creative and happy!
