Why You Can’t Lose Weight, Have Achy Joints, Swelling and a Big Belly Despite Diet and Exercise – What I Learned About Food Intolerances!

Do you try to follow a healthy diet and exercise but still have weight you can’t lose?
Do you suffer from gas, bloating, digestive problems, skin problems and achy joints?
You might be suffering from undetected food intolerance!
A food intolerance is basically a negative reaction to ANY kind of food or substance that your body doesn’t like or recognize. These can include even “healthy” foods! What happens is these foods or substances trigger an auto-immune reaction in your body which causes inflammation and a host of unpleasant symptoms like excess weight that won’t budge!
Take a look at this list to see if you have any of these symptoms:
Common Food Intolerance Symptoms
  • Bloating
  • Digestive problems
  • Tingling or itching in the mouth
  • Skin problems: rashes, hives, itching or eczema
  • Inflammation: joint problems (aches, pains, arthritis), swelling of the lips, face, tongue, throat, etc.
  • Thyroid problems: Hashimoto’s, graves, etc.
  • Sinus problems or nasal congestion
  • Asthma or trouble breathing
  • Stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, nausea
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting
  • Brain fog
  • Poor mood/Depression
  • Low energy
The thing you need to remember is that ANY food can cause a “reaction” in your body and it will be UNIQUE TO YOU! For example, your Mother might be able to eat cheese or butter, but you notice you feel gassy, bloated and have low energy after you eat them.
Like I always say: the key to being healthy and fit is to know YOUR body and YOUR self and not judge what your body and its symptoms are telling you but rather respect it and follow it.
And of course, it’s safe to say, that any artificial, chemical or man-made ingredient will create a negative reaction in the body so watch out for those too and always read labels and ingredients!
What to do about it
Although different people will have different food sensitivities and they can change over time, there are several common culprits. Check your diet for the common sources of intolerant foods below and eliminate them to see if your symptoms go away. Then add back each food item ONE AT A TIME and see if your symptoms return (remember to see the above list of symptoms). If your symptoms come back, you know you’ve identified something your body is trying to tell you it doesn’t like so do yourself a favor and lose it…you’ll be amazed how much better you’ll feel!

You see, there is power in knowledge and knowing that you DO have more control over how you look and feel than you realize! My passion is helping people realize this and to help them realize how they are unknowingly sabotaging themselves from getting what they want.
