The Wind Is My Mother: The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman
Have you ever read a book that immediately resonated with your Soul?
Although many of the books I’ve read along the years have affected my life positively in one way or another, some have done so more significantly than others. I’m sure you can relate. Yet when I share with you that I’ve recently come across one book that has changed my life profoundly and has even touched my Soul, I don’t say it lightly.
The Wind Is My Mother: The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman is that book.
My adult niece, Danielle, gave me the book as a Christmas present a few years ago yet I just recently actually read it. It resonated with me so strongly that it literally has affected not only my whole outlook and perspective on life but also the way in which I live every day and my daily practices and routines. In addition, it’s also influenced how I think and has awakened my imagination, my sense of what’s possible and my sense of awe, gratitude and wonder in the world.
I think we all could use a little more of those things, don’t you?!
I’m so happy to also share that I also had the utmost honor of having the book’s co-author, Molly Larkin on my podcast, Awakening Aphrodite so I could DIVE IN DEEPER!
As Bear Heart’s aprentice for 12 years, Molly has accumulated so much wisdom as to how to live a more balanced, harmonious and spiritual life while still staying part of modern society. LISTEN TO THE EPISODE WITH MOLLY HERE.
So I encourage you to get this book, read it and consider giving it as a gift to someone for holidays, birthdays or whatever. Get ready to feel uplifted inspired and regain a sense of awe, mystery and gratitude for all of life and to feel more connected with others and the Earth.
